Setbacks and How to Cope

It’s inevitable that at some point in your business it will feel like nothing is going right and perhaps this was all a big mistake.  You may even be tempted to throw in the towel and give up.  A major client backed out at the last minute, you didn’t meet your financial goal for the year, or a competitor comes out of nowhere.   Setbacks are necessary and unavoidable for growth. You will never move forward and reach your full potential without them.  So, how do you cope?

The Good:  It’s AMAZING how quickly you can make new connections simply by implementing appropriate hashtags. In my line of business I’m using #entrepreneur, #socialmedia, #socialmediatips, etc.  Of course for you, these will vary, just be sure to use hashtags relevant to your business or industry.

Hashtags are everywhere these days. You can’t log onto your Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest or Facebook without someone inevitably speaking in this seemingly unnecessary, foreign language.  They aren’t just for teenagers and you CAN use them to help target your audience, improve your SEO and most importantly, get your brand discovered.
