Hang Out With Your Clients & Prospects

Does the idea of hanging out with your clients and prospects sound a little odd to you?  Well, it shouldn’t and social media platforms are just the place to chill.  It only makes sense for you to be where your clients and prospects are and they are on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google +, and YouTube just to name the big 5!  There are still many other places where they are as well.

Your business or brand should be leveraging these platforms where your clients and prospects already are to do a few different things:

  • To increase the know, like, & trust factor
  • To stay visible and therefore in at least the back of their mind
  • To educate on what you do
  • & most importantly:  TO POSITION YOURSELF AS THE EXPERT OF WHAT YOU DO

The fact remains that many businesses are not yet at all or not yet effectively leveraging FREE social media to generate additional revenue.  This fact allows great opportunity for you, THE EXPERT, to stand out as the expert in what you do.  For example, there is a great little restaurant in “downtown” Pataskala near where I live and they are using Facebook for all of the above reasons I mentioned. Though I believe there are many ways they could improve their posting strategy the fact that they are the only local fish and chips restaurant doing this makes them stand out.

So, stand out, BE THE EXPERT, and hang out with your clients and prospects.  This is how you keep yourself relevant!
